Arrive at the venue from 10:30am to start your preparations for your wedding day. Whether you opt to get ready in the Wedding Suite or our gorgeous Manor House, there is room for everyone.

We are licenced to hold civil ceremonies in either our beautiful light oak Essex barn, the main wedding breakfast barn or in the grounds of the Manor House in our stunning walled garden. We can host ceremonies of up to 200 guests.

After the drinks reception concludes, our fairy lit Baronial Barn awaits you and your guests for the wedding breakfast and evening reception. With vaulted ceilings and picturesque views of the Essex countryside, it is the perfect setting for the remainder of your celebrations. 

‘aFORDERble Catering’ pride themselves in delivering a high standard at every opportunity. They are proud to say they can offer you the full package from reception canapes on our beautiful patios after the ceremony, to a delicious formal three course wedding breakfast. Should informality be your choice, try their Hog Roast or Barbecue. 

When the evening comes around, the options are endless – whether you want a standard buffet, pizza, paella, or even a graze table. The choice is yours.

As the evening rolls in, watch the Barn transform. Begin your night with the formalities of cake cutting and first dance, before you let your hair down and dance the night away.

Whether you opt for one of our Resident DJ’s or a band, you are sure to need your dancing shoes!
