Perfect for your dream botanical wedding
VAULTY MANOR WAS PERFECT FOR KAYLEIGH AND LOUISE’S DREAM BOTANICAL WEDDING ON 7 SEPTEMBER 2022.
A Surprise Engagement
Kayleigh and Louise met on the dancefloor of a club in Chelmsford in 2014, and six and half years later, Kayleigh popped the question. “I proposed to Louise at Leonardslee Lakes and Gardens in Brighton, and I even hired a professional photographer,” said Kayleigh. “It’s really hard to surprise Louise, but I was so happy she said yes and that we captured that perfect moment.”
Choosing Vaulty as a wedding venue
When selecting a venue, it was important to the happy couple that the venue offered accommodation. They loved Vaulty Manor, whose manor house and courtyard rooms together sleep up to 57 people. “The grounds were beautiful,” said Louise, “and the night before the caterers made us a delicious dinner.”
Vaulty’s team of experienced wedding co-ordinators made planning easy for Kayleigh and Louise. “We worked with Jemilla to plan our dream wedding day,” said Kayleigh. “She was friendly, organised, and she never made us feel like we were bothering her. Nothing was too much of an ask.”
Kayleigh and Louise’s special day
In the morning, the couple used the manor house to get ready, with Kayleigh taking the bottom floor and Louise upstairs. After getting glammed up, there was a last-minute change!
“We were going to have our ceremony outside in the stunning grounds, but the weather turned,” said Kayleigh. “Everything had to be moved inside the barn, which was a smooth process thanks to our florist, who went above and beyond, and the experienced team at Vaulty, who organised it.”
With a beautiful burst of botanical decorations, as well as the rustic elegance of the barn in the background, the pair said ‘I do’ with their family and friends beside them. “My best friend Brad and Kayleigh’s brother were our bridesmen,” said Louise. “Two of our adult friends were our ‘flower girls’, and our other friends and sisters were bridesmaids.”
Vaulty goes the extra mile!
As the wedding breakfast began, the couple settled into their first meal, and Vaulty was happy to provide everything the couple needed. “Louise doesn’t drink, so she wanted some ginger ale,” said Kayleigh, recalling the meal. “Hannah, the catering manager, said they didn’t have any, but popped to the shops to get some. The staff at Vaulty went above and beyond for us and were so dedicated to making our day how we wanted it.”
Kayleigh and Louise also hired a bouncy castle, which provided a lot of fun and great pictures. “We loved that the venue allowed us to make the day our own, and that we could have extra entertainment like a bouncy castle, because now we have so many great memories!” said Louise.
